Re: Return fire

I think Support fire is only possible if it complies with Firing priorities so looking at the diagram on page 53 may explain why B2 can't fire at A1. A2 can shoot at either B1 or B2 as they are both in front of B1 at the same distance. Because A2 didn't shoot at B2, B2 can't return fire at A1 as its...

Re: Return fire

Was reading through the rules yesterday and noticed that also on page 53 under firer with action marker it does say " A unit with an action marker can still conduct supporting fire". Not sure what to make of it but on the face of it would seem that the third french unit can contribute to the return ...

Re: Return fire

Looking at page 53 in the rules I don't believe you can fire unless you've been fired upon so no you don't get support on your return fire from the third unit

Re: Timing of C in C points allocation

Did find a post on the french forum of the 14 jan 2020 with the comment that supports my view roger saying the CP are gifted after the divisional commander has rolled for his CP. If I can find it again I'll cut and paste it.

Re: Fire support from friendly, non-activated division?

Funnily enough I spotted a clarification on this last night and include it here, Inter division support - Pages 47-48 It is possible to support a unit with units from another division: ▪ In defense, you can support morale or fire with any friendly unit in range. ▪ In attack, one can support fire onl...

Re: Multiple Questions

Yes bit funny it doesn't mention it as you can't charge/pursue off the table in ADLG just presume you just stop at the table edge in a similar fashion. Evades count as lost

Re: Multiple Questions

I think this may be one of those cases at looking at what it doesn't say. can see anywhere where it says anybody except people fleeing or retreating go off table so I guess they treat the table edge as an obstacle and just turn to avoid if you can't do by a 45° wheel. It does say that troops that wi...

Re: Multiple Questions

yes that would be my view as well. Strangely enough I can't see anything that stops pursuers going off table in certain circumstances as well!
I'll continue to check the rules
