Re: Corps Reserve Artillery movement
Okay, thanks. I've been playing it that the cp came from the divisional commander I moved the arty with on any given go so far. Must remember to keep it somewhat near the C-in-C from now on...

Corps Reserve Artillery movement
Artillery in the reserve can be activated along with any division. Does it have to comply with that division's order? For example, can I move my reserve artillery forward, unlimber and shoot, during the activation of a division on defend at the end of go 1, and then shoot, limber and run away using ...

Opportunity charge on moving non-group
If I have a division consisting of infantry and a cavalry unit, with the cavalry providing rear support, I cannot move them as a group, even though my intention is that at the end of the divisional move the cavalry remains in the same position relative to the infantry it is supporting. If I advance ...

Moving supports > allowed distance
A unit can wheel up to 45 degrees to charge. A support can move with it as long as it remains in the same relative position. If the support unit is on the outside of the wheel, and the distance it has to move to remain in the same relative position exeeds its movement allowance, can it still move in...

Re: V2 issues so far
Sorry, coming back to this... If a large cavalry unit gets a flee result and goes 10ud back in column, the rear of the column will be 7ud away from the point of contact. A pursuing cavalry will advance 1ud and pursue 6ud, thus contacting the back of the cavalry it just defeated. So, a large cavalry ...

Re: Hidden Division Orders
A strategist can have three Hidden unit markers. A lot of time could be wasted rolling bluff order dice and "In case I have a hidden division CP dice" which also aren't mentioned in the rules.... Reading the note on p81 "If an entire division is hidden, roll 1d6 each turn as if a division were on a ...

Re: Hidden Division Orders
Having them on a hold order until you want to change it makes sense. But would I not then write a hidden division's order on the battle plan, without putting it on the table? In the note on p81 it says you can roll for the division as if it's on a flank march until you roll a number that indicates a...

Hidden Division Orders
Let us suppose I have a division of two units on a Hidden Unit Marker. Because they are both hidden, so is their general. What orders can I give this division? Do I have to give them an order on deployment, or can I give them an order as and when I see fit to reveal them, or when the enemy finds the...
