Just a query as to what formations a large unit of artillery can adopt when moving. Can it form a column 1 base wide or must is always be 2 bases wide? The rules as far as I can see only mentions two allowed formations limbered and unlimbered which implies a large unit of artillery is always two bas...

Yes the units actions occur in order with tactical command being the first where you determine the CP's a divisional commander can use, followed by preparatory fire, charges and shocks,movements and rallying and final fire where you spend them.( note some phases don't require CP's)

I was wondering the same myself. I have two large Russian batteries batteries with the C in C and fight them side by side. However neither offers support to each other as they are unformed. But if I plonk an infantry unit behind both at the joint I believe this gives support to both units flanks in ...

Depends on how many artillery units they are allowed as per page 104 and the quality of the general page 67. I believe that units in reserve still count against the armies total allowed
