If they are considered as essentially permanently disordered then they should give their disordered melee opponents the +2 factor for fighting a disordered opponent. That would take care of most fo my objections.

Wait, wait, wait. Are you really saying that a G6 Imperial Guard heavy cavalry that fights a melee is disordered afterwards win or loose, but an I1 Yuruk isn't? That just cannot be correct in any sane universe.

That is a really good question. If they don't, they have a big advantage over regular cavalry which will be disordered, win or lose, after a combat. I'll be interested to hear what the consensus of the community might be.
