Re: Skirmishers in a building
Yes, we have more trouble with skirmishers than anything else. It would be nice to have a better way to represent small jager units and the like. Perhaps having Jagers and Voltigeurs as an addition to skirmisher range of 2UD available to some units. E.g. French get voltiguers (max 4) at 5 points giv...

Skirmishers in a building
This one caused some amusement. A French cavalry unit advances on some Austrian skirmishers that are detached from a large unit. Only two of the three skirmishers are within 4UD of the cavalry. They elect to take cover in a building. Normally with a medium unit the two would re-combine to become one...

Group charges
How would you complete this procedure: Two cavalry units declare a charge as a group. They are side by side. One of them targets a cavalry unit. The second targets an artillery unit adjacent to the enemy cavalry. There is no group move issue, they will start as a group and end as a group, except... ...

Re: Skirmisher firing zone
Nice one, it is getting complicated.
I would suggest that with half the frontage and counting as SK 0 for shooting, the unit would have worse skirmishers than an SK1 unit.

Skirmisher firing zone
We know for volley fire a unit in line can shoot without the +2 if half the zone is blocked. However, there is no mention of this for skirmisher fire. We assume that for skirmishers to shoot, the firing zone must be the full two base width and there is no 'partially blocked shooting' for them. Is th...

Cavalry in line v cavalry in column
The rules say cavalry in line formation get the +1 against cavalry in column. If the line is disordered does it still get the +1 ? Technically a disordered unit has no formation.

Re: compulsory reserve choices
That is correct. 3 reserve points would be much more useful!
