Ah, but one of the many perils of a Russian player !! Initially I was finding the same as you were; them there Russian infantry ain't much chop vs opposing enemy line infantry. Nice logic !!

And, I guess, remaining Divisions arriving as reinforcements enter on Turn 2 or 3 in an Encounter game, then they could also enter as a Flank March on Turns 2 or 3 but, presumably needing to dice for entry (as per the example on page 81) ?

Time of arrival of flank marches

Page 81 says that flank marches arrive on turn 2, 3 or 4 depending on the type of battle, but I can't find which turn of arrival applies to which type of battle. Is it: A. Turn 2 for Assault, Turn 3 for Encounter, Turn 4 for Battle. Or: B. Turn 2 for Battle, Turn 3 for Encounter, Turn 4 for Assault....

Marty, Rightio then, where to start ?  By way of a super quick summary,  BE is very much a next-generation set ... if you think of FoGN v2 as being a step up from previous Naopleonic rule sets, then BE is at least 2 steps further on again.
