Warfare 2024 16th/17th November 2023

Warfare, is one of the largest Wargames show in the country and this year, it is being held on the 16th and 17th November 2024 at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre more information on the show is available here: https://wargamesreading.co.uk/warfare-2024/
The show includes – Trade stands, Tournaments, Demonstration and Participation games and not forgetting one of the UKs biggest Bring and Buys.
This year we are again running a Bataille Empire competition and would welcome people form abroad to the tournament being 30 minutes from Heathrow airport, 50 minutes from Gatwick so why not join us?
Full details regarding the competition can be found on the website but I include the following information as the format is now very similar to that used on the continent.
• Games being fought on an individual basis with battles between Coalition armies and French Republican/Empire armies.
• Any army from 1812 and later.
• If possible, players should bring two armies one Coalition and one Empire, if this is not possible for some reason allowances can be made or armies lent.
Army lists should be 200 pts maximum
• Battles will take place on tables with pre-set terrain, no player will be expected to play on the same table twice, tables will be reset Saturday night or at other times if necessary.
• Saturday: 09:30-13:00, 14:00-17.30
• Sunday: 09:00-12:30, 13:15-16:45
• Games will be finish after a full turn as been completed. Twenty minutes before the end of the game players last bound will be called to enable them to finish the game without exceeding the time limit significantly.
• Scoring will be done on the usual French system.
