Bataille Empire at Britcon 2025 – 22-24 August, Leicester

Britcon 2025 is moving to Leicester !
Britcon will have a new home in the East Midlands from 2025 onwards - Leicester DeMontfort University's "The Venue@DMU" building on the edge of Leicester City centre, with the 2025 edition running over the weekend of 22-24 August.

The Venue@DMU started life as a Spitfire factory (which is actually quite cool really for a historical gaming venue), then served as a sports hall for many years and more recently has been totally refurbished as modern, dedicated event space, which those of you who play of some of the GW rulesets may know as it has already played host to some of the very large "GT" events for those systems.

The hall is a flat floored single space, with full catering & kitchen facilities (of course that includes "a bar"!), allowing us to have everything and everyone together on one level. We also have the option of expanding and accommodating even more gamers into the immediately adjacent QEII Leisure Centre in the coming years

At Britcon this year the Bataille Empire Napoleonic rules will feature a Version 2 event in a multi-round competition including any official clarifications issued by the author.

Coalition armies v Republican/Empire armies

This 15mm event will run with 5 games over the weekend (Friday evening, 2 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday).
Games being fought on an individual basis with battles between Coalition armies and French Republican/Empire armies

It would be really great if some players from the Continent ( or even America) could join us for this event as we won't be doing WARFARE this year. Help with transport etc will be given to players from abroad.
