Order specification

Dear generals,

I have a question regarding Order specification. Have just few battles under my belt in quite freshmen comunity.
Writing an Order for division we specify target of a move, engage, attack and hold orders. Is it the proper way of doing?
Looks quite real, but rereading the rules I can not find much reference apart of hold order.

There is no specification of targets for these orders. The requirements of the order are sufficient. Occasionally the attack or engage order is fulfilled by advancing towards an objective. Usually the requirement to make a charge or fire a volley makes the enemy the'target'. It is an excellent system.

However its important to understand that while you can choose an enemy or objective to advance towards you must end the move no further away than the closest enemy or objective than at the start of the move. So for instance if you are within 4UD of an enemy and you decide to ignore this enemy you must end the move at least the same distance from a new enemy to be able to count this as a full move even if you've moved the full distance allowed. This works well and generally means its difficult to manoeuvre to new positions if you're under attack or engage orders.
