Can units listed as reserve be Assigned to divisions regardless of cnc rating ie ordinary
In the Austrian Bohemian list you can only have an ordinary cnc yet they list two batteries in reserve ( this is the same question Rafa asked on the French forum and never hit a response )
Also the 1 point for Ordinary general is under the topic of pulling a unit away from a division and placing it in reserve
So can you take all the units listed in teserve and assign them to divisions?

No. The rating of the commander controls how many units can be in the reserve.

Page 67 Types of reserve
1 Artillery reserve. Artillery can be assigned to a division or under CnC control ( No mention of cmndr reserve points)
2 Individual units. this is where the commander reserve points are covered(not in the above)
3 reserve division covering a whole division in reserve (no mention of commanders reserve points)

What triggers this point is the number of list that have poor commanders ie Austrians, Russians, Spanish and yet have two batteries listed in the reserve These aren’t typos

The "Reserve" section of many lists offer far more units than any possible C-in-C can select. You pays your nickel and you makes your choices.
