Bataille Empire

A unit in square is charged. Do other squares within 2ud of its flank or directly behind it give support for the combat? My feeling is that they should. Do we regard a square as facing in all directions for the purpose of facing for morale support?

Even if square have no flank or rear, it could have supporting units into the 2 UD with a maximum of 3.

Not quite my point. I know the square can be supported. I am asking if other squares can provide that support.

Thanks, the rules probably need a line such as "units in square are considered to be facing in all directions".
