When orders (attack or engage) require a unit to advance "its full movement rate" towards the enemy it cannot change formation to slow down.
The question we have is whether A class infantry may change to column to speed up?

You cannot change formation to slow down..

For Class A units changing for column give you more move.. So possible for me.

One of those 'meaning of words' issues. Difficult to phrase it. Someone is bound to say they must change to column if they can go faster!!!
