Bataille Empire

This was discussed at Britcon, but it came up again in today's game and it was suggested we ask a larger audience.

First, if your army can form full squares, can you opt to form a column square instead?

Second, if your infantry are only permitted to form a full square, what happens if you have not left enough space at the side of your unit to form a square?

sorry for the delay.

I just find "who are not allowed to form full square" but not the opposite.

So for me it's possible to form either full or column square.

If you haven't space to form full square, you Must used the column square as you cannot PUSH your own troups.
