Herve,
Might you be so kind as to provide the definitive answer please ?
Can disordered troops counter-charge ??
On page 57 (English version) the last bullet point in "Who can fight" says that disordered units can either stand in place OR countercharge.
On page 43 under "counter charge" it says that restrictions that apply to chargers also apply to counterchargers. And on page 42 under "charge" the sixth bullet point in the list of limitations says that disordered troops CANNOT charge.
These are obviously mutually exclusive ... and probably just a feature of the English version.
I've played it both ways in various games (some games where disordered troops can, and some where they can't, countercharge) and both seem to work. The main difference being as to where the contact/combat location happens.
It would be great to have the definitive answer though ...
Many thanks, Herve !!!
And many thanks also for such a great set of rules !!!!
Cheers,
Keef
