Re: firefight morale test
I understand your argument, but I believe it isn't the intention of the rules.

Re: firefight morale test
I don't think so. A fire fight is seen as a face off. If the first unit fails or is no longer present, the other unit stands. A similar situation would occur after a melee. There is no test because the shock combat decides the result. This is how we have been playing it. Similarly, if a cavalry unit...

Re: Hidden Division Orders
No real need to roll any dice. Just say they are on hold orders and not moving.
If it is a division it has to have an order. Even if it is a dummy division you need an order chit to maintain the bluff.

Re: Hidden Division Orders
I don't see why you couldn't have a marker there. If the hidden marker is a dummy you can just make it a hold order marker and do nothing when activation comes. Even better, you could bluff and do an order change as well. To be strictly correct, you would probably have to nominate any other division...

Re: Hidden Division Orders
I cannot see a rule that says you do not give an order. The order marker will be face down as usual. If it is attack or engage order then some of them are going to have to move. I am pretty sure you will have to declare the order when that order reaches its time to activate. If you change the order ...

Re: firefight morale test
If a unit doesn't have to test when it sees its opponent retire from the fight it would be difficult to argue that it has to test if its opponent is completely eliminated!

Re: units and divisions arriving from reserve: questions !
Now I have actually read the rules it is clearly stated that individual units cannot move or attack the enemy in their division's activation. That is pretty much the same as reserve divisions. In both cases they can follow the reaction options during enemy activations. I think it is all very clear. ...

Re: firefight morale test
That's a good one. I suspect the reasoning in the rules should be applied. I.e. if the opponents are no longer there, there is no need for a test. Just my opinion though.

Re: units and divisions arriving from reserve: questions !
We have not yet had a game where individual units arrived. However, I would suggest that if they have no action marker after arrival, then they behave like any unit of their division when activated.
