An L2 LC charges an L4 artillery. Ends in a draw what happens?

when it's a DRAW , ART always died except if ART have a better status..

No the ART have the same status " LINE" .

Wow is this correct? We have been using the combination of status + moral - so an L4 beats an L2. Frankly, this makes more sense to me but if that is not the rule . . .

As I read it, compare morale first. So L4 beats L2 by 2.
If morale is equal compare status. E.g. E3 beats L3 by 1.

This is also how the three of us have been doing this
It was pointed that the melee result compares status (this may be a translation issue?) and if the two are the same status L the cav or infantry win a melee against artillery(also on the cheat sheet on Facebook the word STATUS is printed in Caps and bold emphasizing status
Where as if you use the morale comparison an L4 beats an L2
Suddenly very unclear because if the word status in melee
If someone has the French version maybe it might make this clearer to understand

Hi all,

i confirm that in french when you've got a DRAW, only the Status make the différence ( better status win or defender except for artillery who need a better status to win a draw)

However Moral différence is compared to give Bonus in melee OR status if the units got the same moral.
